The house has 4 bedrooms 1 double on the ground floor with separate shower and toilet, single and further double on 1st floor sharing spacious shower and toilet. Large living area and dinning room and separate TV lounge. Also garden with lawn and flower beds, patio area for al fresco dinning (weather permitting) and use of hot tub at a small additional cost. Breakfast included in the accommodation however healthy fresh cooked meals using local produce on request at a small additional fee, or simply use our lovely home as a welcome retreat after a day touring this wonderful part of England.

Our home is situated about 5 minutes walking distance from the small market town of Hailsham (mentioned in the doomsday book) It is a beautiful area of Sussex 6 miles to the beach, 4 miles to the south downs. Twenty minutes to the city of Brighton and 1.5 hours to London. There is an incredable amount of things to do and see in this part of England. Amongst the local attractions is the beautiful seaside town of Eastbourne and the south downs, Michelham Priory Tudor mansion House and gardens , dating back to 1229. The wonderful cosmopolitan city of Brighton and the colourful history of The Royal Pavilion stretching back over 200 years, built as a seaside pleasure palace for King George 1V, also the famous Brighton "Lanes" for shopping for that unique gift. Anne of Cleves house at Lewes - 15th century timber framed house. Bodium Castle 14th Century medieval Castle. Herstmonceux Castle and its famous medieval festival held every August. Scotney Castle and Leeds Castle in Kent (2 hr drive) Not to mention all the beautiful walks and gardens to enjoy ie, Batemans house and gardens at Burwash only 45 minutes, the home of Englands most famous author Rudyard Kipling who lived in Batemans from 1902 to his death in 1936. Then there is the beautiful moated Hever Castle (13th century) home to the Bolyen family, Anne Boleyn was Henry V111's second wife. In West Sussex there is the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum, and Weald and Downland open air museum and Amberley Museum and Heritage centres to see how life used to be back in the day. In addition there are the fun and adventure parks of Thorpe Park, Chessington world of Adventure, Paultons Part, Legoland Windsor Resort, Knockhatch within walking distance. Dickens World in Kent and of course the world famous Harry Potter experience with all the original art works and set designs that featured in the original films. And there is London with all that she has to offer with hours of fun and adventure, we have it all in Sussex, and much, much more. (the google world picture does not do my house justice, it is a lovely peaceful and picturesque location)
